The Land of OZ: Measuring Results

Posted by John Balboni on Oct 22, 2018 4:30:00 PM

John Gahan authored the article "The Land of OZ: Measuring Results," which was published in the October 2018 issue of Tax Credit Advisor.

In the article, John explains that for any future message of success to resonate, the positive impacts of Opportunity Zones (O-Zones) must be measured. Currently, no guidance exists to inform the public or Congress that the anticipated benefits to communities is occurring. It may fall to the communities themselves to proclaim whether O-Zones are making a difference. He goes on to say that proponents of O-Zones should develop methodologies and data-recovery metrics to illuminate the positive results.
