Hayden Baker is a partner in the Corporate and Environment & Natural Resources groups. He draws upon his combined environmental, energy and corporate expertise to assist clients in mergers and acquisitions, energy and infrastructure projects, securities offerings and financing transactions. He has won recognition from New York Super Lawyers, The Legal 500 and Chambers USA. He is particularly well regarded for his sophisticated, practical approach to deals, having represented companies, private equity investors and financial institutions in hundreds of transactions, totaling well over $100 billion in investment. Hayden joined Sullivan & Worcester from Davis Polk & Wardwell where for nearly a decade he advised on high-stakes corporate transactions, with a focus on energy and environmental matters. His experience spans a variety of energy technologies including wind, solar, coal, natural gas, smart grid, district energy, landfill gas and biofuels.

Sullivan & Worcester represented Challengeme Esports GmbH (CME), provider of one of the most 
sophisticated eSport matchmaking and tournament platforms, in its acquisition of US-based platform provider, eSports Hero Inc. 

Concurrent with the acquisition, CME received an investment from eSports Mogul (ESM), an ASX-listed eSports media company, and entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with ESM for the Asia-Pacific region.

The combination of the new acquisition and investment enables CME to expand out of its current European region and deploy access to its gaming platform and high-quality game servers into a worldwide market, including an immediate roll-out into North America, Southeast Asia and Australia.
